What personal data does Nobel Mortgages process?

To perform your agreement that you enter into with us, we need the following personal data from you.

Name and address information
Your name is stored because we prefer not to address you by your customer number. We need your address and place of residence, among other things, to prepare invoices, to contact you, or to stop by for a cup of coffee (should you invite us sometime).

Company data
Keeping personal and business separate is nice. Therefore, we ask you to fill in your (company) name and business address when you purchase our products in the capacity of a company.

Email address
We keep your e-mail address so that it is possible to send you important messages about your order or account. We may also use your e-mail address to keep you up-to-date on new developments at Nobel Mortgages via newsletters. Of course, you have the option to opt out of this.

Phone number
We use your phone number to contact you in an emergency or to request your input. In addition, we use your number to send text messages to implement two-step verification or monitoring of your VPS.

IP address
We store your IP address to give you a record of the IP address from which your account was logged in or changes were made. This address is also used to better protect your account from unauthorized access from other locations.

Payment details
We store payment information – such as your PayPal and credit card information, your account number and your name as account holder – after a successful order. We also use other parties, such as credit card companies, to process your payments. When you place an order, we create both a unique offer number and invoice number that are linked to your account.

/ Other data processed by Nobel Mortgages

We also collect some personal data that is not intended for the performance of a contract. We do this based on a legitimate interest or with your consent. It involves the following data.

Work-related personal data
If you apply to us, we naturally want to know what you have to offer. We check this against your resume, cover letter, portfolio or submitted application assignment. We will delete your personal data within four weeks in case you are unfortunately not hired.

Cookies
Some of the aforementioned personal data combined with the cookies we place allow us to see how you use our website and services and where your interests lie. This allows us to better tailor our website, services and advertisements to your tastes. The permission you have given for cookies to be set and advertisements to be shown can be revoked at any time.

Server logs
If you use our services, we automatically save some information about your connection to our servers in so-called server logs. Consider your IP address, browser version, and the time of your visit. We use the data in these logs to troubleshoot errors on our systems and detect individuals who are endangering our network in order to then take action against them.

Other personal data
Occasionally, through support tickets, social media messages or through email messages, we may receive additional personal data that we have not requested. If we do not need this personal data to help you further, we will delete it – as far as technically possible.

/ Purposes of data processing

Of course, we do not process your personal data without an underlying reason; we need it for:

  • Making convenient features on our website work, so that, for example, your shopping cart is saved on your next visit;
  • entering into and performing your agreement with us, so that we know what services you are entitled to;
  • contacting you, for example to help you with a problem you are facing;
  • treating your complaint, for a long and happy relationship;
  • securing our services and fighting fraud, so that, for example, no one else is impersonating you;
  • Handling responses to our job postings so we know better if you are the right match.

After obtaining your consent, we also use your personal data for:

  • gaining insight into the use of our website, so that we know, for example, which pages need to be better laid out;
  • improving and evaluating our website and services, so that we know, for example, what new features you would like to see in our services;
  • tailoring our content to your interests, so that, for example, you don’t see ads on Google or Facebook that don’t add value;

We will not use your personal data for purposes other than those discussed above, unless you have given your prior consent or we are required by law to do so.
